This page will aim to cover a range of topic areas including bereavement, stress, life questions and spirituality.  You may have questions like ‘I can’t seem to forgive and forget’ or ‘is there more to life than this?’  This page will aim to offer you thoughts and insights to help you explore your own path and find your own answers.  It will also offer thoughts relating to peace, climate change, the environment and discuss cause and effect.

A very Happy New Year to you.  My ImmramaFey.com website has a new home and I have been building and developing on my knowledge and learning, to create a new site called ‘The New Path’ www.TheNewPath.com   Please note this site is still under construction and so some of the links may not yet be working.

 

The New Path is a concept which builds upon the work and guidance of many spiritual teachers including the work of Eckhart Tolle and the power of the moment.  These teachings have provided me with some valuable insights in to helping me find my way through some of life’s experiences and appreciate the value of being still.  This new site is also based around my own knowledge, learning and personal journey and focuses on individual holistic wellness - physical, emotional and spiritual - and will offer a range of information, insights and possibilities to explore.

 

If you’ve always had an interest in dreams or would still like to have your dreams interpreted – don’t worry.  My new site incorporates the dream pages which featured on my ImmramaFey.com site, so you can still explore the wonder of your dreams.  The site also features a new page ‘Dream Traveller’ which offers you some tips on how to remember your dreams, what to look out for and how to begin the process of interpreting them. 

 

You’ll also notice that the new site has a shop where, soon, you will be able to purchase a range of items including some wonderful affirmation cards that I have personally created, which can help you through the day or the moment.  These can be bought individually or in a set.  Please note the shop is not yet operational.

 

From February, future newsletters will also include an insight in the form of a ‘thought for the month’ or short story like the one below, and will come from this new email address.  Newsletters will also include details of offers from the shop as well as forthcoming events. 

 

Many of the concepts and teachings behind it date back literally thousands of years, pre-dating the Bible.  The site does not enforce any particular religious belief and in fact you may find a mixture of offerings to consider from Buddhist teachings to Christianity.  I hope that you will find something of value within it and that it will help you on your way.

 

Insight

 

“All I really need to know I learned in Kindergarten" by Robert Fulghum:

 “These are the things I learned:

  • Share everything.
  • Play fair.
  • Don't hit people.
  • Put things back where you found them.
  • Clean up your own mess.
  • Don't take things that aren't yours.
  • Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody.
  • Wash your hands before you eat.
  • Flush.
  • Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
  • Live a balanced life - learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some.
  • Take a nap every afternoon.
  • When you go out in the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands and stick together.
  • Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the Styrofoam cup: the roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that.
  • Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup - they all die. So do we.
  • And then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned - the biggest word of all - LOOK.

 

Everything you need to know is in there somewhere. The Golden Rule and love and basic sanitation. Ecology and politics and equality and sane living.  Take any one of those items and extrapolate it into sophisticated adult terms and apply it to your family life or your work or government or your world and it holds true and clear and firm. Think what a better world it would be if we all - the whole world - had cookies and milk at about 3 o'clock in the afternoon and then lay down with our blankies for a nap. Or if all governments had as a basic policy to always put things back where they found them and to clean up their own mess.  And it is still true, no matter how old you are, when you go out in the world, it is best to hold hands and stick together.”
